  • Step-by-Step Guide to Washing Your Madnonsense

Follow these steps to wash your madnonsense clothing safely and effectively:

    1. Turn the Garment Inside Out

Before washing, always turn your Madnonsense clothing inside out. This protects the design from friction and direct exposure to detergents, which can cause wear and tear over time.

    2. Use Cold or Lukewarm Water

Hot water can weaken the adhesive bond and cause the design to crack or peel. Always wash Madnonsense items in cold or lukewarm water (below 30°C or 86°F). This helps preserve the vibrancy of the colors and the integrity of the print.

    3. Choose a Gentle Detergent

Avoid harsh detergents, bleach, or fabric softeners, as these can damage the print and fabric. Opt for a mild, liquid detergent that is free from bleach and enzymes. These are gentler on both the print and the fabric.

    4. Select a Delicate Wash Cycle

Use the delicate or gentle cycle on your washing machine. This reduces agitation and minimizes the risk of the print cracking or peeling. If washing by hand, gently swirl the garment in water without scrubbing the printed area.

    5. Avoid Overloading the Washing Machine

Overloading the machine can cause excessive friction between garments, leading to damage. Make sure there’s enough space for the clothing to move freely during the wash cycle.

    6. Skip the Dryer

Heat is the enemy of Madnonsense. Instead of using a dryer, air-dry your Madnonsense clothing. Lay the garment flat on a clean surface or hang it to dry. Avoid direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause colors to fade.

    7. Iron with Caution

If ironing is necessary, always iron the garment inside out and use a low heat setting. Avoid ironing directly over the printed design, as high heat can damage the transfer.
